Ci siamo: quel magico momento dell’anno in cui le città iniziano a brillare, i negozi diventano trappole di glitter e noi, irrimediabilmente, ci ritroviamo a comprare palline per l’albero che non sapevamo di volere… ma che adesso assolutamente servono.
E già che ci siamo, quest’anno promettiamo a noi stesse una cosa: nessun senso di colpa, né per il pandoro mangiato a colazione, né per le curve che ci accompagnano nelle foto davanti all’albero. Anzi: le celebriamo, senza dimenticare però di volerci bene sempre! Perché il vero spirito delle feste è proprio questo: accoglierci ogni giorno, con ironia, dolcezza e una buona dose di amore verso noi stesse.
L’avvento è anche il momento perfetto per trasformare la casa in un piccolo regno di magia natalizia, pronto ad accogliere le nostre tradizioni, vecchie e nuove. Io, per esempio, ho sempre aperto i regali la sera della Vigilia con la mia famiglia d’origine, e oggi continuo a farlo con i miei figli: è un rito che profuma di casa, di calore, di attesa condivisa. E quando loro scartano i pacchetti, circondati dalle lucine, mi ricordo perché amo così tanto questo periodo.
Le lucine… ecco, parliamone. Io le metterei ovunque: sui mobili, sulle finestre, intorno alla porta. Creano immediatamente quell’atmosfera morbida e accogliente in cui ti viene voglia di preparare una cioccolata calda e avvolgerti in una coperta soffice.
E poi la tavola. Ah, l’apparecchiatura! Per me è quasi terapeutica. Adoro scegliere i colori, i piatti, i tovaglioli, giocare con le altezze delle candele, aggiungere qualche pigna dorata o un rametto di abete.
Gli addobbi, come le nostre curve, non devono essere minimal: devono essere pieni, luminosi, abbondanti e avvolgenti.
Vuoi qualche spunto extra?
– Albero a tema “coccole”: palline morbide effetto velluto, nastri in toni nude e qualche decorazione fatta a mano dai bambini (che diventano automaticamente i pezzi più preziosi).
– Ghirlanda profumata: intreccia rami verdi con bastoncini di cannella e fette d’arancia essiccate. Bello, naturale e con un profumo incredibile.
– Angolo Hygge Curvy: una poltroncina, una coperta spessa, due cuscini a tema natalizio e una lanterna con una candela. Perfetto per un momento solo tuo… oppure per scrollare l’ennesimo sito di decorazioni.
E poi, ovviamente, il capitolo cibo.
Il Natale porta con sé il profumo dei piatti che scaldano lo stomaco e il cuore, quelli che non richiedono alcuna giustificazione. Tortellini in brodo, caldi e avvolgenti come un maglione morbido. Arrosti e brasati che sanno di famiglia, di tovaglie rosse, di risate e “chi è che ha nascosto il telecomando?”.
E per la Vigilia – che nella mia famiglia è sempre stato il momento – non mancano mai:
– il pesce, in qualunque forma: un’insalata di mare semplice ma fresca, o un trancio di salmone glassato al miele e arancia;
– le verdure gratinate, che sono praticamente il contorno ufficiale del Natale;
– i dolci, perché chi siamo noi per dire di no al bis del pandoro con crema al mascarpone?
E poi l’eterna sfida: panettone o pandoro? La risposta giusta è semplice: quello che ti piace di più, senza contare le fette. A Natale si mangia ciò che si ama e ci si ama mentre si mangia.
E in tutto questo tripudio di luci, sapori e morbidezze, ricordiamoci una cosa: le feste sono un momento di gioia, condivisione e libertà. Le nostre curve non vanno nascoste, ma celebrate, illuminate e – perché no – fotografate con un buon filtro, possibilmente mentre sorridiamo davvero.
Voglio condividere con voi alcuni consigli pratici per vivere le feste con leggerezza:
- Apparecchia come piace a te, non come “si dovrebbe”: colori caldi, piatti spaiati ma adorabili, candele ovunque. L’unica regola? Sentirti a casa.
- Scegli un outfit che ti coccoli: velluto, maglioncino morbido, abito luminoso… l’importante è come ti senti tu quando ti guardi allo specchio.
- Mangia con gioia, non con giudizio: una fetta di pandoro non ha mai rovinato nessuno. Un commento fuori luogo sì. Ignoralo.
- Regalati un momento solo tuo: 10 minuti di relax, un tè, una musica che ti scalda. La festa inizia da dentro.
- Scatta una foto che parli di te: non cercare la posa perfetta, cerca la te più vera. Le curve fanno parte della tua bellezza, non un ostacolo.
- Respira, sorridi, vivi: non inseguire il Natale perfetto. Goditi il tuo.
